About the Artist
I began painting in 2018 as a way to escape the growing daily pressures of everyday life and parenting a child with special needs. Over the last several years painting has become a passion that both centers me and allows me to explore the natural world and how I perceive it.
As a major in Marine Science, the ocean has been a lifelong passion of mine. In my series of ocean inspired paintings, I try to capture the movement and drama of creatures like sharks and jellyfish. My hope is to allow viewers a window into the captivating visual these animals provide.
